The process begins with an artwork deposit starting from $250, which locks your design and pricing before a single piece goes to print. There are no hidden costs and no surprises.
When should I send Save the Dates and wedding invitations in Australia?
Save the Dates should be sent 6 to 12 months before the wedding — earlier for destination or interstate weddings. Formal invitations follow 3 to 4 months out. At Felicitations, the design and proofing process typically takes 2 to 4 weeks, so we recommend booking your artwork deposit at least 5 months before you need invitations in hand. The earlier you start, the more creative freedom you have.
Should we send physical wedding invitations or digital e-vites?
Both are valid — but they create very different first impressions. Digital invitations are convenient and cost-effective. Physical invitations are the first thing your guests will touch before they read a single word — the weight of the card, the texture of the letterpress, the gleam of the foil. At Felicitations, we've been crafting physical wedding invitations since 1999, and in our experience, the couples who choose paper never regret it. Their guests don't either.

Felicitations is a couture wedding stationery studio located at 9 Main Street, Osborne Park, Perth, Western Australia. We work with couples across Australia — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and beyond. All consultations can be conducted online via video call, and every suite is hand-finished in our Perth studio before being shipped Australia-wide. Distance has never been a barrier to exceptional stationery.
Is it acceptable to use a QR code for RSVPs on a wedding invitation?
Absolutely — when it's done well. A QR code linked to your wedding website is now standard practice in Australia and works beautifully when designed as part of the suite rather than added as an afterthought. At Felicitations, we integrate QR codes elegantly into the details card or RSVP card design, so the tech feels intentional, not tacked on. For formal or black-tie weddings, we recommend pairing a QR code with a printed RSVP option for older guests.
What kind of printing finishes do you offer?
We specialise in luxurious print techniques like foil, letterpress, embossing, digital white ink, and full-colour printing.
All designs are printed on premium cardstock from 300gsm up to luxurious 750gsm, and finished with embellishments like hand-tied ribbons, wax seals, and custom shapes.
Materials include cotton, vellum, acrylic, and more — all printed and hand-finished in our Perth studio.
How long does the process take?
Our standard turnaround time for printing is from 10 working days, depending on your chosen print method and number of pieces.
