On a spectacular December day, Steph and Michael's wedding unfolded as a masterpiece of high-fashion design, moving from the lush UWA Tropical Grove to the iconic WA Maritime Museum. Their celebration was a story of "Couture Meets Cool," where bold shapes, clean lines, and dramatic black and white styling created an unforgettable, high-contrast experience.

The theatrical tone was set by a truly sculptural invitation suite. Guests received a stunning wave-edged die-cut card, featuring layered black and white stock and statement typography. The fluid, unconventional shape was a bold promise of the striking, couture-level detail that would define the entire day.

Styled by the visionary Vicky Rahmic Events, the aesthetic at the reception was breathtaking. The centerpiece was a magnificent six-piece statement signage installation that combined the welcome sign and seating chart into a work of art. This sculptural theme continued throughout, with wave-edged menus and signage creating a cohesive, dramatic, and unapologetically modern atmosphere.

Captured by Octavia Weddings, Steph and Michael’s day was a perfect fusion of bold architectural lines and theatrical romance. Every element, from the stationery to the styling, was a confident expression of their unique love story, creating a celebration that was as cool and contemporary as it was timeless.
