Precision, by the millimetre.

Laser cutting uses a focused beam to cut and etch detail far finer than any blade or die - delicate patterns, sharp custom shapes, and crisp engraved lettering, all from a single digital design. It opens up looks paper craft simply can't reach.

We run our laser in-house at our Osborne Park studio, cutting and engraving cotton stock, timber veneer and acrylic. That means we control every detail - and turn most laser suites around in just 7 to 10 business days.

One beam, endless detail.

What we cut and engrave.

One machine, two techniques - used alone or with a range of materials.

Custom Shapes

Arched, oval, scalloped, or a silhouette drawn entirely for your day. The laser cuts precise edges no die or blade can match - so your invitation isn't bound to a rectangle.

Intricate Designs

Fine patterns, openwork borders and delicate detail cut straight through the stock. Light passes through the cut-work and shadows shift as it's lifted - the detail guests notice before they read a word.

Wood, Acrylic & Velvet

Beyond cardstock, we cut and engrave wood, acrylic and velvet - a rare, tactile finish few studios can offer. Warmth, modern edge or soft texture, with your monogram or design etched straight into the surface for a true statement piece.

Laser Cut + Foil

Pair the cut-work with a printed or foiled backing card, so colour shows through the pattern for depth and contrast.

Laser Cut + Wax Seals

A hand-pressed wax seal alongside a laser-cut shape or engraved monogram - precision meets old-world ceremony, and warmth against the clean modern cut.

ON-THE-DAY STATIONERY

Laser, carried through to the day.

The laser doesn't stop at the invitation. Signage, menus, place cards and more - cut and engraved in the same materials and design as your suite, so the look runs unbroken from the mailbox to the venue.

FAQs

Laser Cut Wedding Invitations FAQ

Everything couples ask before they commit to laser cut. If your question is not here, book a Free Design Discovery and we'll walk you through it.

What is a laser cut wedding invitation?

A laser-cut invitation uses a precise laser beam to cut intricate patterns, borders or shapes clean through the material - detail far finer than scissors or a cutting die can achieve. The same laser can also engrave designs into the surface.

What's the difference between laser cutting and laser engraving?

Cutting goes all the way through the material for openwork patterns and custom shapes. Engraving etches into the surface for a permanent, tactile mark - ideal for acrylic, wood or velvet. We offer both, often on the same suite.

What materials can you laser cut?

We cut and engrave cardstock, wood, acrylic and velvet in-house. Each gives a different feel - delicate, warm, or modern and we'll help you choose the right one for your design.

Can laser cutting be combined with other finishes?

Yes. Laser-cut detail pairs beautifully with foil, colour print, and engraving - layer a cut pattern over a printed or foiled backing card for colour and depth. Add an acrylic invitation for pure glamour.

How much do laser cut wedding invitations cost?

Design deposits begin at $200 (Studio Collection), $300 (Tailored Touch), or $600 (Bespoke) - applied against your final commission. The total depends on the material, the complexity of the cut, and quantity. Use our guided pricing tool for a clear estimate.

How long does laser cut production take?

Laser-cut suites run approximately 7 to 10 business days from artwork approval, as everything is cut in-house. We recommend booking 4 to 6 months before your wedding to allow time for design and revisions.

Do you ship laser cut wedding invitations Australia-wide?

Yes. Every suite is designed, cut and hand-finished in our Osborne Park studio and shipped to couples across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, the Gold Coast, regional Australia, and internationally on request.
